Philosophize This is a chronological approach to philosophy, and this whole time we've been going chronologically,
but because there are so many interconnected parts when you're learning about any one particular region's philosophy,
we've only been talking about the West.
Now after this episode, starting next episode,
we're going to go back and cover the Eastern philosophy up until about this point in history,
and then we're going to go back to Western philosophy,
and we're going to kind of zigzag back and forth between these dueling storylines until finally Western and Eastern philosophy come together years later.
Now this is the best way to do it,
because it doesn't just allow us to see all the unique differences between the West and the East,
but even more, it shows us the similarities between them.
And this is one of the most interesting historical mysteries of all time.
