We started the year off by going on a trip to Columbia, and we stayed with a friend of yours that you had a language exchange with and his family, which allowed us to get really deep into the culture of what, what Columbia is all about.
Yeah, it was, it was pretty cool, actually.
My, my friend Ugo, I had been, I don't know how long we had been talking.
Over a year, I would say.
We had a Spanish English exchange, and it developed more into a friendship with him than an actual language exchange.
We just kind of spanish and english speakers, we say we Spanglish together.
So part English, part Spanish, and as long as we're communicating with each other, it's just a fun conversation.
So we actually had the opportunity to stay in his house with his family, and later in a family friend of theirs.
We stayed at his house for a couple of weeks.
That's true.
But why were we in Columbia at that time of the year?
Like, we arrived in January.
So why were we there?
We were there.
They have a huge event, actually, it's the world's second largest carnival.
