29 分钟Hey there.
A quick message before we get into the show.
This episode is about the experiences of Palestinians living in the occupied west bank and mostly focuses on events that happened before the latest escalation in violence.
It's a perspective that often goes under discussed, but that's helpful in understanding the Israel Gaza War happening today.
No single episode, particularly one focusing on a specific perspective, can capture all of the complexities of the ongoing conflict.

I also suggest last week's episode of this show.

Okay, here's the show.
This is in conversation from Apple News.
I'm Shemitah Basu.
Today, a day in the life of a Palestinian family under occupation.
The year was 2012 in the occupied West Bank.
A little Palestinian boy named Milad was looking forward to his first ever class field trip.
The day of the trip, he woke.
Up early, put on his school uniform, scarfed down his breakfast, ran out the door.
This is author Nathan Thrall, and he.
Went with all the other kindergarteners at his school in the town of Anatta, which is partly annexed by Israel.
So partly inside municipal Jerusalem, partly not.
Milad's father, Abed, was still asleep when the boy left the house.
