This is Monocle On Design, a show where we discuss everything from architecture and craft to furniture and fashion.
I'm Nick Minise.
On today's show, we reflect on some of our favourite stories from 2024.
We dig into archival conversations with furniture specialist Maria Brun and fashion designer Farah Merafi.
Plus the link between skateboarding and architecture.
All that and more coming up on Monocle On Design.
Hello.
I'm joined in the studio by Monocle's fashion director, Natalie Theodosi, and Monocle's associate editor, Grace Charlton.
Mae Lee Evans, our super producer, is behind the studio glass.
Grace.
Natalie, how are you feeling?
Natalie mentioned it before we went on air, but it's, you know, it's been ramping up and we're ready to relax.
I couldn't agree more, but I think it's great to look back and to just realize how much we've done and all these amazing conversations that we've had.
So it's a good time of year.
It truly is my favorite way to unwind, just to think back about all the amazing things I've done, look at my trophies from childhood, just really give myself a big pat on the back.
And that's what this show's meant to be.
Just like a nice warm pat on the back.
Atta boy.
For me and I guess for you guys as well.
That's, I think, the aim of it.
