Foreign hello dear.
Dismiss.
It's great to have you all back for another eight minute English podcast episode.
Over the past few episodes, we've journeyed through the worlds of love and marriage.
Those episodes were filled with heartwarming stories and useful vocabulary.
But life has many facets and today we're delving into a topic that many find divorce.
I admit it's a bit of a confusing topic for me, but it's essential and many of you have asked about it.
So let's take this journey together and explore this significant life event.
Are you ready?
Let's get started with today's episode.
Hi Jane.
I was having a deep conversation with John and Maria yesterday evening during our neighborhood gathering.
They're seriously considering divorce, but they're hesitant because of their three kids.
That's such a tough decision.
Divorce isn't easy for anyone, let alone when kids are involved.
I understand their concern, but sometimes staying together for the sake of the kids might backfire.
Children can sense tension, disputes and unhappiness, even if parents think they're hiding it well.
I agree, but John and Maria believe that having both parents around daily is vital for the children's stability and emotional growth.
While that's a valid point, a peaceful, loving environment is also essential.
If they're always arguing or there's constant tension, the kids will be living in a toxic atmosphere and that's not healthy.
