Hello everyone.
You're listening to After Hours.
I'm Felix.
I'm Mihir.
It's great to be back with you, Felix.
Yeah.
And of course, Thanksgiving is around the corner.
Are you ready?
Turkey and daven everything.
Yeah.
Fantastic.
So besides thinking about the holiday, do you have topics for us?
Well, I confess I've been thinking, thinking a lot about Africa.
Oh, okay.
And there are just some remarkable developments and we've never really had the opportunity to think hard about Africa.
And so I thought it would be great, but it would be even better if we had someone who actually knew what they were talking about.
Yes, generally a good idea.
And in fact we do.
So we are joined today by one of our wonderful colleagues, Carrie Elkins, who's both a professor of history and African American studies and at the business school and just somebody who really thinks hard about the continent and about business and just about everything that we want to hear about.
So, Carrie, it's really great to have you here.
