Hello, everyone.
You're listening to After Hours.
I'm Felix.
I'm Mihir.
And I'm Jill Avery, senior lecturer at Harvard Business School in marketing.
Wonderful to have you, Jill.
Thanks so much.
Glad to be here.
So, Jill, I understand you just came back from Brazil.
I did.
I was visiting a company for a new case study down in Rio de Janeiro is about a company called Farmrio, which is a fashion brand originated in Brazil, but recently launched into the US and moving quickly into Europe.
That sounds absolutely marvelous.
And the case is, of course, close to your research, close to the topics that you're interested in.
What would you like us to talk about today?
Today, I'd love to talk about two topics.
One is the topic of brand valuation, and the second is topics related to personal brand.
How do we apply everything we know about branding and brand management to the brand of us or my personal brand?
You know what's great about these topics is we haven't done a bunch on marketing.
Felix and I feel like this is like a real big embrace of marketing.
So both on brand valuation, which, of course, Jill, I love because it's got a finance angle.
