Foreign.
Hello, everyone.
This is After Hours.
I'm Felix.
I'm Mihir.
And I'm Charlotte.
Hey, Charlotte.
Howard.
It's great to have you, Charlotte.
Welcome back.
Thanks for having me.
And I guess the three of us are paying some attention to earnings announcements.
Is that a big thing for you?
Do you take a lot of time following companies?
Yeah, I think that there's always a tendency among journalists at the Economist, where I work and elsewhere to try to make big stories out of a given earnings season, try to see what grabs you.
But I'm looking forward to today because we're going to talk not just about the broader economy and what generalized earnings mean, but about specific companies, which I think are really interesting.
The ones that we've chosen span all different sectors, and each of them helps to illuminate the broader economic picture in a slightly different way.
So I'm looking forward to getting into it with you both.
That sounds great.
Let's do it.
