Welcome back to the Closet Digest, a podcast that looks into the most meaningful pieces in our wardrobes and the stories behind them.
I'm Emily Chan, British Vogue's senior sustainability and features editor.
Today for the final episode of the series, I'm joined by model and beauty entrepreneur Georgia Mae Jagger.
Born into the spotlight as the daughter of Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, Georgia has carved out her own fabulous path.
From the moment she signed with her first modeling agency in 2008, she's been the face of countless campaigns, from Thierry Mugler's angel fragrance to Burberry and Rimmel London.
She's also starred on several Vogue covers, including her very first one.
Aged just 17.
When I won the Model of the Year, the British Fashion Award, I'm wearing so much makeup, I think I was like really nervous so I wanted to look really good and instead I end up looking way older and like way too made up for a 17 year old.
Beyond her stellar modeling career, Georgia is a successful businesswoman, recently launching her natural cosmetics brand May Botanicals and co owning the trailblazing vegan hair brand Bleach London.
And I also have to say congratulations as Georgia's just become a mum.
So I'm extra grateful for you for taking the time to chat with me.
So much and that wonderful introduction.
Yeah, of course.
To begin with, I normally ask our guests a bit about what they're wearing today, so I wondered if you could maybe talk us through your outfit.
So I am wearing a Salaron suit and Terry de Havilland vintage wedges.
