Botswana President Duma Boko reaffirmed the country's support for the One China policy and said he expects to strengthen relations on the basis of mutual trust and respect.
Both presidents also pledged to consolidate the outcomes of the China Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit.
Former Botswanan President Mogwiti Masisi has praised the evolution of the country's relations with China over the past five decades.
He emphasized the successful cooperation in various areas such as infrastructure, healthcare and education, which has delivered tangible benefits to people of both countries.
