He made the remarks while addressing a gathering in Macau to mark the 25th anniversary of the city's return to China.
President Xi also attended the inaugural ceremony of the sixth term government of the Macau Special Administrative Region where he administered oath of office to new Chief Executive Executive Sam Hou FAI and other principal government officials.
