We begin the show in South Korea where Yoon Sik Yul has become the first sitting president to be arrested.
His detention came after a dramatic, dramatic hours long standoff with his security staff and supporters and investigators who finally gained access to his residence this morning using ladders and wire cutters.
This is the latest development in a political crisis triggered by Yoon's failed attempt to impose martial law last month, for which he was impeached.
Well, we're joined now by Dr.
Edward Howell, who's lecturer in politics at Christchurch Oxford and author of North Korea and the Global Nuclear Order.
