Well, I'm sure like many of us, you've been watching the pictures of the wildfires in Los Angeles and we've heard about the lives lost and of course the huge number of homes and businesses which have burnt down.
But we wanted to look at some of the impacts that wildfires can have on health in the long term.
Lucy Sheriff is a BBC reporter who lives in California and found her own street was in the path of the fire.
The evacuation process was pretty panicked and chaotic because everybody was trying to leave at once.
And like I said, you just have this one road in and out.
Luckily, I was able to get out fairly quickly, but it was just.
