Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack and I'm here with my co host, Sochil.
And today we have another collocation episode and social.
I'm just gonna.
For students who are listening to this episode, first I'm just going to define what a collocation is.
And a collocation is a combination of words that are commonly used together
in a natural way by native speakers of a language.
So it's word.
Word pairings that just sound right to native speakers.
You know, it's not necessarily grammatically.
Well, it doesn't have to be grammatically correct necessarily,
or sometimes it's a wrong collocation is grammatically correct, but it just.
We just don't say that, you know, it just doesn't feel right.
And so I don't know.
Am I making sense right now?
I think you are.
I think.
Oops, sorry.
I think you are.
