Sounds music radio podcasts hello, it's Justin here.
It's 10 o'clock in the evening on Monday evening, 10 o'clock London time.
We have recorded today an episode of Americ Answers.
We did it with Matt Chorley.
Sarah and I did it with him and we concentrated mainly on tariffs, which was the right thing to do.
But of course, the news breaks, it keeps breaking.
It happened during our recording a little bit about Mexico, which Sarah brought to us, but it's happened big time this evening, British time, with a phone call between Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, and Donald Trump in which there has been very, very basically, Canada is saying now that they're going to do all sorts of extra things to stop fentanyl, this terrible drug, from being smuggled across the border into the United States.
There's going to be a joint task force, all sorts of other very big sounding things which possibly add up to something, possibly don't add up to that much.
But anyway, the bottom line is at the moment the tariffs against Mexico are put on hold and the tariffs against Canada put on hold as well.
And there's a phone call with Xi Jinping, the Chinese leader tomorrow.
So we'll what comes of that?
