Andrew discusses why he started running, the program he used to get in shape, and what his running journey was like, including the differences as a runner with retinitis pigmentosa. After, Dave and Chris talk about the scientifically ideal running playlist and go through Dave's and the listeners' playlists to see how they compare. 单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to the Dave Chang show, part of the Runner Podcast network presented by Major W Media.

  • Thank you.

  • Elatingo, as always.

  • Well, in an effort to sort of plant the seeds for major domoing, if you don't know what that is.

  • If you listen to a couple podcasts ago, we talked about how we want to start to do some things and make it fun and gather a group of friends to sort of force ourselves to do things that we might not normally do.

  • And also ultimately a Rube Goldberg like system device simply to embarrass Chris Ying.

  • That's really what it is, a complex device to embarrass me.

  • So we are going to talk to Chris Ying's old boss, Andrew Leland.

  • We've had him on the podcast before when he was promoting his book and unfortunately, while he got as a finalist for the Pulitzer, he did not win.

  • So we are now one and one.

  • I mean one in one in terms of Hwasu won the Pulitzer.

  • Andrew's a finalist.

  • I consider those both victories.

  • But of course, Dave Chang's the tiger parent.

  • I don't think it's tiger parenting.

  • It's just called did you win?

  • We had two authors on and they're.

  • Both if you're not first, you're last.

  • Okay.

  • I don't need Ricky Bobby to tell me that.
