  • Welcome to the Listening Time Podcast.

  • Hey, everybody, this is Connor, and you're listening to episode 193 of the Listening Time Podcast.

  • I hope you're all doing very well and that you are enjoying these episodes,

  • practicing your listening, feeling more confident with your English.

  • I hope that you're all doing well on your English learning journey.

  • And in today's episode, I want to talk about the topic of being shy.

  • So I want to talk about my own shyness.

  • In particular.

  • I know a lot of you can probably identify with this.

  • I'm sure many of you would consider yourselves to be somewhat shy or very shy,

  • or maybe you're not normally shy, but there are times when you feel shy.

  • So I think that this topic is relevant for a lot of people.

  • And I want to talk about my own experience with being shy,

  • because I've been a somewhat shy person my whole life, and when I was younger, I was very shy.

  • So I'll talk about my own experience with this in the past, the present, and how I think I can improve in this area.

  • And I hope that some of you can identify with this and maybe take some lessons from this as well.

  • So I'm sure that you'll like this episode.

  • And before we start, I want to encourage you to check out my pronunciation training.

  • If you've never done so, if you become a Listening Time super member or any of the higher tiers,

  • you'll have access to my English pronunciation seminars.
