  • He's been reporting from the front lines in Ukraine since 2022.

  • Maxim, you're joining us from Kyiv today.

  • I'm just really interested to know how the news is going down that Donald Trump

  • and Vladimir Putin have had an hour

  • and a half phone conversation

  • and agreed to immediately start negotiations over ending the war in Ukra.

  • So the Ukrainians are obviously very concerned

  • that this is kind of welcoming Putin back onto the international stage.

  • This isolation that he's been in throughout the period of the war
