the programme where we speak to two incredible women from
around the world about the extraordinary things they're doing today.
We're looking at what it means to be in control of your own decisions
and how everyone can set boundaries that are mutually understood and respected.
Sexual consent isn't something that's always formally taught and for women,
the absence of this education has a part to play in this sobering statistic.
The World Health Organization estimates nearly one
in three women worldwide have experienced physical
or sexual violence.
Now, understanding what consent is won't magically solve this problem,
but my two guests today are doing work that can be seen as part of the solution.
Mede Ojos Messen is an award winning Danish sexual health educator and author.
And Oladele Ogunmai from Nigeria is a lead trainer for no Means Know Worldwide,
a global rape prevention organization.
