Hello.
It's 1090 days since Russia began its full scale invasion of Ukraine.
And Vitaly and I are recording another extra episode because as we record at just after 6pm UK time,
European leaders have been meeting
in Paris this afternoon to discuss how they hope to reach some kind of peace deal,
essentially between Ukraine and Russia.
This morning, the UK Prime Minister, Sakir Starmer,
said he was ready to put UK peacekeeping troops on the ground in Ukraine if and when the war ends.
And American officials are in Saudi Arabia preparing for a meeting
with a Russian delegation which will take place tomorrow.
So much is happening, so much to make sense of in this episode of Ukraine Cast.
Ukraine Cast from BBC News.
Evil cannot be trusted.
Ask Prigozhin, not dealing with a politician, but with a bloody monster.
Is there a need for a serious opponent?
Why I will prevent World War Three?
It's not just about Ukraine, it's about the whole future of Europe.
I don't understand what this war is for.
Hello, this is Victoria Derbyshire in the Ukraine cast studio.
