Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack and I'm here with my co host, Social.
And today we have another collocations episode.
And just for our listeners out there that don't know,
a collocation is a group of words that go together naturally in English.
So sometimes you'll make a sentence that is grammatically correct,
but it sounds awkward to a native speaker.
We just.
We don't say it that way.
We.
We would use the.
A different collocation.
So, Social, I'm going to give you three verbs.
All right, Sorry.
I'm going to give you one verb, and then I'm going to give you kind of three phrases,
and I want you to match the verb to the correct phrase.
Which collocation is the most natural.
So the first one, the verb is face.
To face something, face on the bandwagon, face the plug, or face the music.
