I'm Natalia Melman Petruzella and from the BBC.
This is Extreme Peak Danger, the most.
Beautiful mountain in the world.
If you die on the mountain, you stay on the mountain.
This is the story of what happened when 11 climbers died on one of the world's deadliest mountains,
K2, and of the risks we'll take to feel truly alive.
If I tell all the details, you won't believe it anymore.
Extreme Peak Danger.

Welcome to the documentary podcast from the BBC World Service with me, Anna Holligan.
This story begins at a crime scene on a main road here in Paris.
At 5.30pm around this time on 15th October 2024,
a 27 year old man was killed here on this street at this exact spot.
His name was Paul Vary and his death made headlines because of who he was and how he died.
Paul Vary was a cyclist and he was killed in a bike lane,
run over by a car after an argument with a driver.
Paul was leaving work one evening.
He was going down the bike lane here.
There's a traffic light at the end of the street.
