Hello and welcome to this special episode of the Monaco Weekly.
It's all about the 97th Academy Awards.
We start the show talking with the man behind it all,
Bill Kramer, CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Bill Kramer, lovely to see you again after a few years from the last time we spoke.
And now you're CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Bill, of course I'm excited for the Oscars and I don't think it's just me,
but how are you feeling for this year?
Because we've been through a lot.
We've been through Covid.
I mean, the whole cinema industry had to change.
Are we getting out of this?
Are you feeling very optimistic about this year, Oscars and the cinema industry in general?
I'm feeling incredibly optimistic about this year's show.
And first, I should say, Fernando, great to see you.
It has been a while.
I'm really happy to be back in touch.
But the show is going to be remarkable this year.
You've seen some of the presenter and performer announcements.
We're going to have a beautifully entertaining night,
