单集简介 ...

Today we talk about the psychology of texting, jumping to conclusions, and if we’re destined to repeat the same failures in life.  We talk about text message etiquette, the psychology behind quick responses, slow responses and no responses, and “closing the loop” with people we have unintentionally ignored.  We talk about jumping to conclusions and making assumptions about others and their intentions.  We explore the idea of accepting oneself as is versus constantly struggling to change in the name of personal growth.  We talk about fixating on failure versus success, being overly self-critical versus blindly overconfident and the role of luck. ____________________ 下载节目文字版: Episode Transcripts ____________________ If you enjoy this show don't forget to leave a rating and subscribe! 小红书: THD The Honest Drink Follow Us On IG: @thehonestdrink_ Join Us On WeChat: THD_Official Email: thehonestdrink@gmail.com Find us on: Spotify, Apple, Google Podcasts, YouTube, 小宇宙, 喜马拉雅, 网易云音乐, 小红书, Bilibili or anywhere you get your podcasts.

单集文稿 ...

  • I had another idea for today's show.

  • Okay,

  • back to this idea of some of us feeling distant or some of us feeling others are being distant.

  • So one of the things was just doing a little roundtable and just kind of checking in,

  • like, what are you excited about?

  • Is there something cool coming up in your life?

  • Anything that you're excited about?

  • Nothing.

  • And then are there any things that you're just learning or you're practicing?

  • Like golf, for instance.

  • Any.

  • I feel like we just get so butt hurt,

  • like when we find out that the someone else is doing something without us.

  • It's like, oh, he's playing golf.

  • Like I didn't know that.

  • No, the first question.

  • No, no.

  • You're so distant.

  • Hold on, hold on.

  • You have a hobby that I don't know about.
