China's health minister has revealed recently that China will make efforts on the weight management of the public, including setting up more weight management clinics at hospitals.
The new national weight loss plan goes beyond broad public health campaigns incorporating targeted interventions within the healthcare system.
Said hospitals are being encouraged to establish specialized weight loss clinics providing individuals with access to lots of things, including professional guidance, personalized diet and exercise plans, and medical monitoring.
This integration of weight management into hospitals settings signifies a shift towards a more comprehensive and medically supervised approach to tackling obesity.
