Hello and welcome to the English like a native podcast.
My name is Anna and you are listening to week nine day four of your English five a day.
The second season.
This is the series that is dedicated to exploding your active vocabulary, little by little,
so that you feel more confident and more like yourself when communicating in English.
So sit back and relax.
We will cover all of the recording for you by adding all of the vocabulary from this episode and every episode of the five a day series into our database with the target vocabulary,
definitions and examples.
So you can look it up at any point whenever you're ready.
I'll leave a link to the database in the show notes, but for now all you need to do is listen.
We start with the snapshot.
As the company's cybersecurity expert,
Jesse mindfully reviewed each suspicious email to protect her colleagues from fraud.
She discovered that criminals were trying to steal data about the company's carbon emissions,
which showed how successfully they had reduced pollution from their factories.
Fortunately, thanks to the availability of advanced security software,
Jesse was able to block the attackers and keep the company's data safe.
Now we shall dive a little deeper into some of the words you just heard, starting with the adverb mindfully.
Mindfully.
We spell this M-I-N-D-F-U-L-L-Y mindfully.
