  • China's Ministry of Commerce has described U.S. tariffs as a typical bullying practice based on unilateral assessments.

  • China is urging the U.S. to resolve differences with its trading partners through dialogue and consultation.

  • U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order to slap new tariffs on America's global trading partners despite widespread opposition.

  • His announcement is adding 34% tariffs to the existing 20% duties on all Chinese goods shipped to the United States.
