President Trump announced details of a sweeping tariff plan, declaring April 2 Liberation Day for U.S.
trade policy.
April 2, 2025 will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn,
the day America's destiny was reclaimed, and the day that we began to make America wealthy again.
The president said the U.S.
will impose a 10% across the board tariff on all imports and even higher rates for other nations the White House considers bad actors on trade.
The president called these reciprocal tariffs.
Reciprocal, that means they do it to us and we do it to them.
Very simple.
