What's life like as an international influencer based in China? In the past few years, a host of international bloggers and vloggers have appeared on social media platforms in China and abroad to share their experiences and views about everything Chinese through pictures, articles and videos. They have been loud and clear in telling China stories through their perspective and they have attracted great attention. However, there's a rub. They're often subjected to smear campaigns which target either their reputation or even their character.
