The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Summit taking place in New York marks the half-way point to the deadline set for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. China is working towards sustainable development in its own way through accelerating the building of a green and low-carbon economy. Not only has China endeavored to expand green development domestically, but also overseas through the Belt and Road Initiative. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.
