And March of last year, had my tubes tied and the relief of not having to worry about it, but also, I think, kind of taking ownership of that decision, which at first felt so disempowering, I felt like I had this genetic disorder that I didn't ask for, and now I have to make this choice, and it feels like I don't really have a choice.
The universe has good news for the lost, lonely and heartsick.
And so for me to be able to make that choice about my own healthcare was just a really empowering moment within that whole process.
Yeah.
The sugars are here speaking straight into your ears.
What does everything else look like for you?
I'm Steve Allman.
I'm Cheryl strayed.
This is dear sugars.
You don't have to give us an exhaustive list, but what has some of the major items on your everything else list?
Been?
Yeah, it's a great question.
I mean, I'm a social worker and work with the people I want to work with that I want to serve.
Oh dear song won't you please share some little sweetness with me?
My partner is an urban farmer, and we took those jobs because we didn't have anybody relying on us.
We could say, well, you know, if we have to eat, you know, lentils and whatever he farms for a while, like, we can make that choice for ourselves.
So, I mean, it's been the jobs that we want to take.
We've taken.
I check my bell vibes every day oh, and the sugar you see in.
We travel a lot.
