We are not a show, as listeners will know, that tends to sort of chase the news cycle.
We try to sort of talk about individual stories that are taking place.
They could really be happening anytime.
But we were pretty deeply affected, as were millions of other people, by what's being called the Stanford rape case and in particular, the brave, long statement given by the victim of that sexual assault.
