5 分钟Hey, there.
I want to tell you about something special that we are sharing with you this week.
It's an episode of a podcast called Ways to win, hosted by coach Craig Robinson.
So Craig, who draws from his on court wisdom as a basketball player to solve problems off court.
He sits down with prominent celebrities and athletes and business leaders, and together they have these just incredibly honest conversations where his guests reveal the insights and beliefs that made them into the leaders they are today.
I remember the episode when President Obama actually joined Craig and opened up about how he deals with immense pressures that can come his way.
And he shared how projecting confidence, believing in your team, and really taking criticism constructively helps to stay focused.
In this episode, Craig speaks with Kentucky basketball legend and former NBA star, Rex Chapman.
And with a lot of honesty and humility, Rex discusses his new memoir, it's hard for me to live with me, including his lifelong struggles with addiction, depression, and anxiety.
And Rex also gives the listener just heartfelt advice for dealing with resistant people, shares how he filled the void after his playing days ended, and opens up about his unexpected influencer status later in life.
Here's Craig.
You know, and you've coached for a long time, Craig, and you've coached different leaders.
Ideally, you would like your best player to be a leader.
Ideally.
That doesn't always happen.
That's okay, as long as that person is willing to follow someone else.
And a lot of times, many times, that person won't.
And so at that point, as a coach, as teammates, you have to look within yourself and realize, look, all right, he's not going to hold himself accountable.
We're going to have to do that.
And there's a way to do that.
